Hardly any other image has given me so much trouble. Actually, it was supposed to be another architectural collage, but it wanted to go somewhere else. Only the hand protrudes from the structure. Nevertheless, the woman's gaze is directed outwards. For me, it is a sanctuary around a human being. It is their dignity, their essence. And that is always beautiful.

"Pacific" - Andreas Weber's beautiful image of the dandelion was already very poetic in itself. It's strange how something like that can look poetic. It's just the fruit stand of a very common plant. This fragile construction of nature needed a sensitive and careful response. A gust of wind and all its splendor would have vanished. The houses are from Nice and Menton.

This is the portrait of a child's world. My son was still very young at the time. I was always fascinated by how this delicate and vulnerable being was drawn to large machines and powerful engines. Again, I am exploring the contrast between fragility and strength, softness and hardness, youth and age.

In my art, houses are images representing a person's personality, their story, their dreams. Here, they are part of a family system seen through the eyes of a little girl. It's about strength, security, and stability. Thematically, this painting is very similar to the collage "Golden Boy," which, however, depicts a dysfunctional family.
